Who we are

This website is run by NUMEROUSX CONSULTING PRIVATE LIMITED, based in Chennai, India ("NumerousX", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we receive through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

We handle personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it. In the words of that Act, you are the "Data Principal" and we are the "Data Fiduciary" for the details you send us.

What we collect

Through this website, we only receive the personal data that you choose to send us in the contact form: your name, your email address or phone number, your company name (optional), the option you pick from the form's drop-down (for example the service or country you are interested in), and your message. The form also tells us which page of the site you sent it from.

Please do not include sensitive information, such as identity numbers, bank details or health information, in your message. We will ask for what we need, through a proper channel, if you become a client.

Why we use it

We use these details for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry, including arranging a call if you ask for one. The Act allows us to use personal data that you have voluntarily given us for a specific purpose, for that purpose.

We do not sell your details, and we do not use them for unrelated marketing or add you to a mailing list.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.

When spam protection is switched on for the contact form, Cloudflare Turnstile runs a short check in your browser to tell people from automated bots. Cloudflare explains how it handles that data in its own privacy policy.

Who processes it for us

We use two service providers (called "Data Processors" in the Act), who handle your data only to provide their service to us:

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website and provides the spam protection on the contact form (Turnstile). As part of delivering and protecting the site, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details.

Resend delivers the contact form to our inbox as an email. Your enquiry passes through Resend's systems on the way.

Both providers run services around the world, so your data may be processed outside India. The Act allows this except to countries the Government of India restricts.

If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, including through the "Book a free call" buttons, WhatsApp handles that conversation under its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after we receive them, so that we can follow up on the conversation and refer back to it if you contact us again. After that we delete them.

If you become a client, your enquiry becomes part of your client records and is kept under the terms of your engagement with us.

You can ask us to delete an enquiry sooner at any time (see "Your rights" below).

How we protect it

The contact form is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we take reasonable security safeguards to protect the enquiries we hold.

If a personal data breach affects your details, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the Act requires.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you have the right to:

Access: ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it.

Correction and erasure: ask us to correct, complete or update your details, or to erase them when they are no longer needed for the purpose you gave them for (unless the law requires us to keep them).

Grievance redressal: raise a complaint with us about how we have handled your personal data, and get a response.

Nominate: nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become unable to do so.

To use any of these rights, contact us at +91 85088 45555 (WhatsApp or phone). We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request. If you are not satisfied with how we deal with a grievance, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

This website is meant for businesses and adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you.
